Additionally; the system can generate standard or customized labels in multiple sizes for secondary containers, including QR codes that link directly to the corresponding SDS with a quick scan from any smartphone. This creates a seamless and secure way to access vital safety information quickly. Put another way; this may remove the last barrier between your employees and critical emergency information that they have the right to know and understand.
You may send us requests to add new SDS’s to your database or you may do so yourself with complete autonomy. Our SDS platform is designed to have us as involved or as removed from your database as you desire. SDS Explorer
Designed specifically for the professional in charge of employee safety, SDS Explorer helps simplify your Hazard Communication requirements. You may track your SDS library by facility and department and may export and print a chemical inventory list any time you wish. Label printing tools that allow you to cut and paste data from the SDS to populate and create a custom label makes secondary container labeling easy. Included is optional QR codes that may be scanned by any smart device to instantly view the SDS without a login required and offers immediate access even to visitors and guests.
You may customize the field names and use open fields to track and search any internal reference you may already have. You may create new user accounts for Administrators, Managers and Viewers. Your employees may switch the view of the interface to English, Spanish or French anytime by clicking a button. You may copy a direct login link from your database to share instant access (search, view and print only) to your employees without the need of entering a username or password.
Chemical Management Navigator
Chemical Management Navigator (CMN) goes beyond managing Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) like its counterpart, SDS Explorer. CMN offers a deeper analysis of the data within each SDS using a familiar interface. This allows you to search and sort your SDS library by various criteria, including hazard information (signal word, pictogram), internal codes, CAS numbers, or ingredient names.
CMN’s strength lies in regulatory compliance. It can identify reportable chemicals by cross-referencing CAS numbers against multiple regulatory lists. These include lists for Extremely Hazardous Substances (EHS), chemicals regulated under SARA 313, NPRI (Canada), Department of Homeland Security, and various state and local regulations like CA Prop 65 and PA Hazardous Substances.
Additionally, CMN simplifies label generation. It can create GHS-compliant labels with all the necessary information and allows you to sort your database by hazard level (Danger or Warning) to quickly pinpoint chemicals requiring specific handling, storage, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
